A water table is a great way to introduce your children to fun and safe ways to interact with water.

Gather some lumber (based on the plans), clear plastic bins, a circular saw, drill, and a few other supplies to create this project.

Step 1: Prep

Prep your lumber by making the cuts based on the cut list and sanding each board.

Step 2: Top Frame

Using wood screws and pocket holes attach the long top apron pieces to the smaller top apron pieces.

Step 3: Leg Frame

Using pocket hole screws create the table leg base with the remaining long apron piece and small apron pieces.

Step 4: Assemble the Table

Attach the two frames using 1 1/4 inch pocket hole screws to fully assemble the table and add the center divider.

Seal the water table from potential damage with at least 3 coats of polyurethane.

How to Play:

Add water, sand, rice, foam or plastic balls, grass, or whatever you desire to give your little ones a sensory exploration.
