MAKE YOUR OWN MARBLE WITH EPOXY

You can never tell it isn't real marble

It is waterproof making it a great choice for bathroom or kitchen counters.

It is food-contact safe.

It is cheaper than the real thing (by a lot!).

Epoxy

You will need epoxy and pigment to make your "marble"

Wood

I used plywood to make my faux marble countertop

pouring

Applying epoxy to a project is so satisfying.

adding veining

Add the "veining" with a paint stick in any pattern you choose.

heat gun

Use a heat gun to pop bubbles and move the black pigment around to create a pattern you love.

add a clear coat

Adding a clear coat will help give it a more realistic marble look.

Done!

From plywood to marble. No one will ever know it isn't real!
