I am SO excited to show you my patio makeover!

I partnered with The Home Depot to create the perfect cozy corner to hang out this summer as part of their Patio Makeover Challenge!

Small patio  – The Before

Here is what we started with –

That floor was in a pretty bad state and the first starting point was staining the concrete patio which I did last year.

We kept using my curbside rescued patio furniture and over the summer I added the table with fire pit and a lattice planter.

But it looked sparse and cold, to say the least, and not very comfortable to hang out in…

It was time to give this space lots of personality and color.

The inspiration for my space was to draw from the traditional Indian decor in my main living area and bring it outdoors.

This included deep colors and lots of greenery.

I got everything I needed at The Home Depot – from the furniture to pillows, the rug, the lanterns, and all the plants!

Now, it is cozy, comfortable and full of personality!

I am sharing all the little details and lots and lots of pictures on The Home Depot Blog – including what it looks like at night – which is the most magical part!

This is now our favorite space in the home!

We have been enjoying the cool evenings on the patio and cannot wait for summer and pool season to make this our hangout!
