I had the honor of being invited by The Home Depot to participate in their Halloween and Harvest Style Challenge. It is an annual challenge where bloggers are invited to decorate their space using products from the The Home Depot Halloween and Harvest section.
I decided to transform our front porch into a scray spooky welcome to trick or treaters.
This is what we started with…
We went on a fun shopping spree at The Home Depot and loaded up! Catch the snippets in my Instagram Stories highlights.
The kids love everything animals and love hanging out with the motion activated skeletons at The Home Depot so that is what we went with!
Meet the star of the show – Mr. Skeleto aka the 84″ Sabre-Tooth cat.
The entire porch is full of motion activated animals, lights and noises and fog… no Halloween scene is complete without fog!
Wait till you see it at night!!

There were a couple of quick and easy DIY projects that I sprinkled in like the “Dog bowl treat holder” and the signs and Halloween Topiary.
Check out all the details on The Home Depot blog.
We were the cool house on the block with all our decorations up in mid-September and ready for Halloween!
Are you ready?!
Don’t Miss What It Looks Like at Nighttime!
Also, here is a quick video on how this front porch came together!
