But you don’t have to be!

Why?

Because the front porch is…well…blah… Porch before adding small front porch decorating ideas

I completely ignored it except for the occasional seasonal wreath.

There were some planters by the door left by the old tenants that just sat there… lucky for them they were succulents and survived my neglect…

Well sort of.. they look pretty sad and dry…

In the perfect world, we would own this house and I would paint the front door an amazing cheerful color…

But that is not the case… until then, these quick and temporary small front porch decorating ideas will have to do!

Let’s break all of these down –

How to clean the front porch

  • First thing is to sweep up the porch.
  • Then you can hose it down with a pressure washer if you have one to remove all the dust and debris. If not, just moping with water will work too depending on how dirty the porch is.
  • Clean the walls if you have to. I used my favorite SteamMachine  for this.

I love how effective it is. I also used it to clean my back patio furniture and toys a few weeks ago and loved it too. Cleaning a front porch wall with steam cleaner
