How to make a wooden jewelry holder –
Step 1 – Make the cuts
- Cut all the lumber as needed.
- Attach the doll pin stands on the bottom of the 1″ x 6″ piece using white glue. More about this in the video above.
Step 2 – Make holes for dowels
Using a ½″ drill bits make holes in one of the 2″ x 2″ boards.
Step 3 – Paint the jewelry holder
Paint all the pieces in the paint color of your choice. I used white spray paint for all the pieces.
Painting the bracelet organizer
Here is a trick on how to paint those dowels – I added a screw to one end and used that to hold it on a block of styrofoam. When dry, you can just take out the screw!
Step 4 – Attach the boards
Attach the 2″ x 2″ boards to the base.
I used the white gorilla glue because it works well with painted surfaces.
I also put in a 1 ¼” spax screw to hold it together.
Step 5 – Attach the wires
- Mark off 1″ sections on the back of the two 2″ x 2″ poles.
- Start attaching the wire using the staple gun.
- I explain all the details on how to attach it and take care of the sharp edges in the FB live video down below.
Step 6 – Attach dowels
Attach the dowels using the white gorilla glue.
Add cup hooks for necklaces.

All the jewelry can now be displayed on this little DIY jewelry holder.
The bracelets and even rings go on the dowels.
The earrings hang on the wires.
Short necklaces hang on the hook.
It is a simple and quick project that makes the perfect gift for any girl that loves jewelry!
