It only cost $10 in material and took about 45 minutes to make!How awesome is that?!
This project is perfect for a beginner and looks so pretty filled up with fresh spring flowers!

Materials needed the DIY wooden planter
- 2 – ⅝ ” x 5-½” x 6′ Cedar Dog-Ear Fence Picket
- 1 – 2″ x 2″ Furring strip
- Wood glue
- Miter Saw
- Ryobi brad nailer
- 1¼” finish nails
- 1¼” Spax screws

How to build a tiered wooden planter
Here is the video tutorial. I also have the steps listed below if you would rather read about it.
Just hit play –
Step 1 – Start by cutting up the cedar fence for the planter boxes.
Step 2 – Build the three planter boxes using wood glue and finish nails.
Step 3 – Cut the legs and attach legs using wood glue and wood screws. They are screwed from the inside of the boxes.
Step 5 – Attach the next box and set of legs.
Step 6 – Lastly, attach the final box and legs.
That’s it! The DIY tiered planter is ready!
Fill it up with your favorite flowers or herbs and enjoy!
