Materials needed to make the easy patriotic wreath –
- Grapevine wreath form – I re-used my grapevine wreath from the previous one.
- Red, white and blue faux flowers. I got mine at the dollar store.
- Little wood stars – on Amazon or Joann’s . I got my pack from Joann’s using a coupon and only used 5 of the 130 stars… the rest will be for another project!
- Hot glue gun
- Silver craft paint
- wire cutter
How to make a Red White and Blue Wreath –
Step 1 – Cut off the flowers from their stems using a wire cutter.
Step 2 – Insert flowers one by one into the grapevine wreath form and twist them underneath to secure. I used 6 blue flowers and 3 each red and white for each layer.
Step 3 – Paint the little stars silver using acrylic paint. I painted 5 stars.
Step 4 – Glue stars to the blue flowers using a little drop of hot glue.
That’s it! The wreath is ready! I love the simple look of it. What do you think?
